Project Five: Vinyl Record Cover

This album cover is for the band TV Girl, an American Indie Pop group. The album was personally curated based on their 2023 tour setlist. The album is intended to be used as concert merch, to commemorate a patron’s time at the concert. The imagery is a play on their band name, and their retro and edgy style, and includes photographs that I took at their concert. There is a large emphasis on the party scene, through the use of confetti, cigarettes, and spilled drinks because these are all objects spoken heavily of in their songs and would remind a fan of their music. This project was a combination of marketing and branding so I created a social media campaign that focused on small details of the cover and interior of the sleeve. Project Requirements: “Pick an artist, develop an album of their best songs, and design a vinyl record cover and 9-grid social media campaign for them. Then document the process and final piece.”
